Introduction to Treasure Maps

Throughout Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag, you'll find 12 treasure maps scattered across the Caribbean. These maps lead to hidden treasures containing valuable rewards including gold, rare items, and upgrades for the Jackdaw.

Treasure maps can be found in various locations - some are purchased from shops, others are found in chests, and some are rewards for completing missions. Each map contains clues about the treasure's location.

Treasure Map Locations

Map 1: Great Inagua

Map Location: Found in a chest on Great Inagua island

Treasure Location: Hidden cave on the east side of Great Inagua

Rewards: 5,000 Reales, Legendary Cutlass, Ship Blueprint

Map 2: Nassau

Map Location: Purchased from the local shop in Nassau for 300 Reales

Treasure Location: Uncharted island north of Nassau

Rewards: 8,000 Reales, Pirate Hat, Naval Mine Blueprint

Map 3: Havana

Map Location: Obtained from a mission in Havana

Treasure Location: Underground tunnels beneath Havana

Rewards: 10,000 Reales, Golden Flintlock Pistol, Heavy Shot Blueprint

Map 4: Kingston

Map Location: Found in the governor's mansion during Sequence 4

Treasure Location: Mountain cave north of Kingston

Rewards: 7,500 Reales, Assassin Armor, Depth Charge Blueprint

Map 5: Dry Tortuga

Map Location: Found in a shipwreck off the coast

Treasure Location: Hidden beach on Dry Tortuga

Rewards: 6,000 Reales, Rare Sail Design, Swivel Gun Upgrade

Map 6: Cayman Sound

Map Location: Purchased from a traveling merchant

Treasure Location: Sunken ship in Cayman Sound

Rewards: 9,000 Reales, Underwater Mine, Hull Armor Upgrade

Map 7: Saint-Pierre

Map Location: Found in a chest near the harbor

Treasure Location: Ancient ruins on nearby island

Rewards: 5,500 Reales, Smoke Bomb Recipe, Crew Upgrade

Map 8: Salt Lagoon

Map Location: Reward for completing a naval contract

Treasure Location: Hidden in the mangrove swamps

Rewards: 4,000 Reales, Poison Dart Recipe, Storage Upgrade

Map 9: Antigua

Map Location: Purchased from the shop in Antigua

Treasure Location: Abandoned plantation house

Rewards: 8,500 Reales, Assassin Outfit, Mortar Blueprint

Map 10: Nassau (Second Map)

Map Location: Found in the pirate tavern

Treasure Location: Secret cave beneath Nassau

Rewards: 12,000 Reales, Legendary Pistol, Broadside Cannons Blueprint

Map 11: Kingston (Second Map)

Map Location: Found in the British fort

Treasure Location: Underground vault beneath the fort

Rewards: 15,000 Reales, Templar Armor, Chain Shot Blueprint

Map 12: Havana (Second Map)

Map Location: Found in Havana Cathedral

Treasure Location: Hidden beneath the cathedral

Rewards: 20,000 Reales, Edward's Legendary Outfit, Elite Cannon Blueprint

Tip: Always carry enough diving bells for underwater treasures. Some maps lead to shipwrecks that require diving to reach.
